48V to 12V step down

Is this what I need to convert the 48V output of my LED power supply to 12V so I can power my Typhon and fans with the single power supply?

This particular unit looks like it shares the - for vin and vout right?

Seems to share ground..
On a side note I've used those cheap step down boards and they work fine.
Note though I used one to step down a wall wart to give me a stable 10V for dimming on some meanwell drivers most of the time it was for testing purposes so no life testing.. That said I prefer the adjustable ones..

And really like the LED readout ones.. and the ones w/ amp control.
Unfortunately I'm not seeing them going up to 48V..(40V seems tops)

@2.4 each (inc/ shipping) not much to lose.. and you have little choice it seems..

There are fancier ones.. (volt/current adj) for 10x the price..

don''t forget your diode..

K cool ordered one so I'll see how it works. I only need it for the Typhon and 3 120mm fans so at the most I'll be pushing less than 700ma on it. Now I just need to get an LDD 6up board for the Vero's. On a side note anyone know how many LDD's can the Typhon take per channel? I thought I read somewhere that is was up to 5?
