Question reguarding Moss wall

Hi i'm new to the forums
i have some taiwan moss but i have no idea how to make one..

Do i place the moss in between 2 pieces of wire mesh & place it in the tank
OR
just tie the moss on the wire mess & place it in the tank?

the dimension im would be making is around 15cm X 15 cm~

Welcome to TPT- we're glad to have you!

IMO I wouldn't put wire/metal of any sort in my tank for long period of time; don't like the look or rusting/other issues.

I would use 2 personally would choose pieces of plastic mesh and sandwich the moss in between, then just fasten the pieces of mesh together with zip ties or something similar.

Run a search for "moss wall" there have been several recent threads with some pics; there's been one recently about a big wall for sale (wasn't fully grown in yet but great idea of what it would look like). Also look up "moss diffuser" or something like that; there is a member using their moss wall to help with their CO2 setup (don't remember who LOL)

This is the moss diffuser.

The wall is about a month old, and made from knitting material, whatever it's called. it is zip tied together, but really needs to be sewn together all the way around IMO because the growing moss pushes the two pieces apart and makes it look like crap. Also, try to find something less conspicuous than super bright white material to start with, as it will show through for a long time.

Good luck!
