sump with bottom cleanout designs???

does anyone know of a link that has a good design for a sump with bulkheads drilled in the bottom to aid in pulling out the junk that settles on the bottom while doing a water change. Also a way to build a sump to let more junk drop to the bottom rather than being recirculated.

90 gallon planted rainbow fish/ community tank, pressurized C02, 2.8 wpg cf, eco-complete,

1-20 gallon breeding/growout
2-15 gallon breeding/growout
4-10 gallon breeding/growout

currently breeding hi fin red eye swordtails, kribensis, orange platys, trying others
DIY central sump filter w/auto water changing and auto water top off, DIY in-line co2 reactor.

I haven't seen any sumps with bulkheads on the bottom since most people put their sump underneath their aquarium inside the stand. I just vacuum the bottom of my sump every month or so.

I have used a 12" x 12" piece of of filter foam to separate my sump into sections. Most of the detritus settles on the intake side of the foam pad. I have a magnum hang-on-the-back canister filter in my sump that filters the water in the sump.
