Dual 36 gal bowfront stand

So I really enjoy the various sizes of bowfronts. I found myself with 2 36g bowfronts and thought they would look nice on a dual stand so one drunken night I drew up a rough sketch of my idea

I then ordered the material I needed.I chose to make it from steel and the lighthoop would be made of stainless.

I began by building the doors

In this pic you can see the curve of the tank matches the curve of the door.

That look awesome, how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking?
Good luck...

That's REAL nice . What kind of finish are you going to use . Might look nice powder coated or shot with Imron .

I've got about 200 in materials so far. The most expensive part is the stainless steel tube. It was $5.60/ft if I recal and they would not ship less than 20ft. So I guess I will have some left for another project

I do plan on having it powder coated this week if everything goes well

I'm not to sure what form of scape I will do but I would like for them to either complement eachother and flow as one.

Or I could to a yin/yang display maybe Dutch jungle vs. iwagumi?

Here is the other 36gal that will be on the stand.

That's really cool! I don't know much about bowfront tanks, but are you concerned at all that the lack of support for the front will impact the integrity of the tank? I always assumed you needed support under the entire perimeter of the tank.
