My autodosing fertilizer set up

Found this enteral pump locally for about $15. Brand new usually runs for about $300. I think this is a discontinued model OR the company is bought out by some bigger company.

Anyway, manage to get a manual from the old company to make it work. I know some reefers modify the pump and put it on timer. The pump won't work with on/off schedule. It has a RUN/STOP button to make it work. I run mine 24/7......so far so good.

Having problem finding the dripping bag. Finally locate a couple bags that closely resemble the old bag dripping system. I have to gut a few parts and get me some silicone tubing to set up the system.

Here some pics. Currently dosing 5ml per hour. I mix my own fertilizer (PMDD) in a milk container hanging from the cabinet. That one gallon milk container lasts for about a month. The fertilizer drip into the sump.

Very cool!. Those more complicated pumps can be a pain to set up (ask JenThePlantGeek). But are much more versatile in their dosing schedules than the APT pump that I have that you have to use a manual timer on.

Let me know if you find any more of these pumps for $15... I'd take a few!
