I added more pictures and a couple of options(there are several more).

The design essentially brings reactors and disc misting closer together.
Good DIY project, cost next to nothing and you can vary the misting effect by using/throttling a simple irrigation drip ball valve(not shown on the pics) ands to shut off any venturi inlets not in use.

This is similar to the internal DIY venturi design, just modified for external use.
I meant to make a DIY pic layout years ago, just now getting around to it

You can also use a O2 meter(a standard measure of plant growth in living systems) and measure the difference which is about 20% higher in a dense planted tank.

Okay, I've been reading some threads on this, and can't figure it out. Where would I put this gizmo, and in what way does it make things better? Can it replace my reactor?

In one of the threads I looked at, somebody said they ran a tube from the "burp valve" on the AM 1000 reactor to the intake strainer of the canister filter. Is that accomplishing the same thing?

My current configuration. As you can see, my plants are doing pretty well

TIA,
Mike

Don't have any answers but I just wanted to say I really like your tank! BTW, what kind of fish are those?

LOL! Yeah, I think those are "freehand tetras". Also, the aquascape needs some work.

Happy holidays everyone,
Mike
