CO2 DIY?, RedSea Bio CO2

i currently have a Red Sea CO2 Bio-Generator. i about run out of CO2 since the mixture in the canister only last a month. can i use the yeast recipe to refill my CO2 instead of buying a refill?

usually people use two liter bottles, so im guessing for my situation i would split the recipe in half since the container is only 1 liter.

I think it depends on how much yeast goes in; I think the usual would be between 2 weeks and a month.

Oh this is good news... I've got this same one.

How are your CO2 levels? Is it doing a good job for you? I just got mine... last weekish.

I never tested mine, with a similar set up on a 2.5 gal tank and 10w of c/f lighting I was getting some nice growth and pearling on my plants.

yea, i dont really know how to test my CO2 levels, but i did the co2 recipe in the link above and it seems to being good still
