Rustoleum "neverwet"

Has anyone ever used it on an aquarium stand, I think it would work great for keeping things dry.

You don't need it at all. A poly will do just as well. Poly, varnish, lacquer are just like putting a laminate on the wood. All three are basically a type of plastic.

Dilution is the solution for the pollution.

It is not a clear finish. Unless you want a grey stand, dont use it.

Also, I tried some on my shoes which always get soaked when I walk through the dewy lawn early in the morning. It failed miserably. So I'm not a fan of it.
