Using a screen door mesh for a moss wall?

We had some bugs and my wife freaked so i replaced our sliding screen door as it had some holes in it so i was wondering can i use the mesh screen door to wrap around rocks or make a moss wall or is the material toxic?

I've used the fiberglass screening (new and old) in an aquarium without any problems.

Do you know what the material is made of?

If you have holes in it, it's probably old fiberglass mesh, I remember when I was a kid, some insects (crickets, maybe others) would actually chew holes in the stuff.

If it's metallic, probably aluminum, which I wouldn't want to put in a tank.
