Sliding doors

Anyone build a stand with sliding doors instead of the traditional hinged doors?

Looking for some insight on this.

Cheers

Hinged doors will give you space to move equipments in and out. Sliding doors will give you limited open space.

I build a drawer into my stand though. I put fish food and ferts in there. That can slide in and out.

I couldn't do doors on mine because my chair in right in front of my tank. Instead I attached them with magnets. I just used the standard cupboard door magnetic closer things that you get at Home Depot for $2. It uses less space than sliding or hinges. Just another idea for you.

Yeah I saw your stand AnotherHobby, it is awesome. I was thinking of the magnet route as an option as well.
