DIY 9x 20 Long CRS breeding RACK!

so iv been thinking about keeping/breeding CRS, CBS, and blue tigers..
but none of my current tanks are really ideal for the actual breeding of the little buggers

SO i got this idea.. to build a rack to hold 9 (that's right NINE) 20 gallon long aquariums. and i started doing some research (not a lot lol)

heres something along the same lines from: http://goldfishgarage.blogspot.com/2...-bbr-tank.html

If i were to go the "EZ" route i could pick up a freestanding rack like this one http://www.homedepot.com/p/Edsal-72-...2#.UeXjdNLVBkM

with the 48" cross shelves here
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Edsal-48-...4#.UeXjpNLVBkM

which would make my rack.. 48"W x 30"D x 72"H
if your not good at math/geometry that lets me put each 20L long ways 3 on each shelf. Also allows me about 1' above each tank for easier maintenance. Also since the rack is 48" wide i shouldn't have much trouble fitting a few shop lights, one for each shelf (3 tanks)

My only concerns up to now:

-the weight.. its going to be right about 1 Ton(2000lbs) across 48"x30" of floor space..
-Filtration.. i dont even know where to begin to filter 9 tanks in a rack system

Its also an option for me to obviously build my own rack for the tanks out of 2x4s to fit my needs but iv never built a stand or anything out of 2x4s tbh.. i am however fairly mechanically inclined and i designed and built two racks to hold my current 7 Ball Pythons so im sure i could do it

any thoughts on the idea?
any ideas about filtration?

i hope to start this project in the next couple months so stay tuned!!
Thanks!

easiest way to filter those would be sponge filters and a airpump.
as for the stand, i have made one from 2x4 for my 15x10g setup.

I definitely thought about the sponge filters and maybe one large air pump. I could probably even make some kind of DIY for the actual filters.

How will you access the tanks? specifically the center ones on the two lower racks.

You don't think the 1'+ between each tank and the shelf above it, and another 4" in between each tank on its same shelf would be enough?

Here is a beter idea of how I've imagined it fitting together.

each square is 6"x6"

So...If I space the Tanks from the edge of the shelves also, and not just from themselves it would work out to 3" evenly as shown in the "Design" lol

Also if i wanted.. i could keep the lowest shelf ON the floor and move the top tanks up to the TOP and id end up with 1'4" between each shelf but i think even 1' would be suficient.

so given standard ceiling height is 8' i think all of these things would just barely work.

Just waiting on some extra money and a $1/gal sale somewhere.

Any suggestions on things to do/not do?
Things I can start doing before I get the shrimpers?

I guess ill be testing some ro/tap water mixes for the right gh/kh? I'm totally new to this invert idea (sensitive ones anyway)
