Exclamation GE silicone II safe?

So I'm in the middle of making a DIY drop checker and I just realized that I bought the GE silicon II window/door/attic instead of GE silicon I, and I'm wondering if I can use the GE silicon II. Is it safe?

Make sure it days 100% silicone, and doesn't list any additives or extra crap. If there is anything other than 100% pure silicone in it, then it is unsafe. Read very carefully, those labels can have some really fine print.

If its not GE I Windows and Doors, don't use it. If I am not mistaking on the label it states not for aquarium usage but you can ignore that. That's the manufacture covering their rear ends. Majority of every in the hobby uses it with no problem. The GE II has additives that can linger around regardless of your cleaning in which can kill your tank inhabitants in due time.

return it and get I.

from my understanding the II includes some fungalcide/milicide for keeping fungus and mildew from growing. this is toxic to your fish.
