Abs pipe

haven't heard of anyone that uses ABS (black plastic pipe) instead of PVC...Just wondering if it makes any difference.....I can only find 1.5 inch pipe in the black...I can't see why it would make any difference, just want to make sure....Also, can I mix PVC stuff with the black pipe?

ABS pipe is only rated for non-pressurized use. That's why here in the states it's used only on drain systems.

You can mix ABS and PVC IF and only IF you find the right cement. Normally these two products require different cements. But there is one cement that you can use that will work.

Or if you want I can pick up all the pieces and send them to you. That way you get all PVC.
