Question on DIY CO2

I am wondering if it possible to use my canister filter also as a diffuser . My plan is to run from a DIY CO2 run an airline partially up the intake line. Would that work?

I have no problem doing this and have been doing it for quite some time. I am running 3 2litre bottles into the intake on my magnum350.

the motor is on the bottom on the magnum so it will work great for that. with the fluvals, eheims, renas they all have the motor on the top so they'll eventually stop working as the canister fills with gas.
