I am curious why you dont use a bubble checker/gas exchanger? I find them nice to monitor how fast my reactors are running, not to mention, if any of my reactors overflow or spit out some of the mixture, it will be caught in the bubble counter and not end up in the tank. Currently on my 55 gallon planted tank, I have 2 2-2L bottle systems on either side of the tank being blown through Aquaclear 20 Powerheads. I find this system the best Ive used so far though tons of experimenting. I switch one bottle, alternating sides, every 4 days. I find this keeps my CO2 stays pretty consistent and the powerheads not only break up the bubbles of CO2, but also blow it around the tank nicely. I also do not put the CO2 airline into the airline outlet on the powerhead, I drilled a hole into the bottom screen and put the airline blowing the CO2 straight into the impeller to break up the bubbles better.
