Got a reaktor-idea?

I got an old filter, used in dialysis for sterilising water. I removed the filtermaterial and now i have this:

I want to use it as a CO2 reaktor, placed after the outline of my canisterfilter.
First i was thinking of using some bioballs and CO2 inline from the middle (Like the aquamedic reaktor 1000)but then I thought - hey any better ideas?

Its 4,5cm inside diameter, and 26cm long. My tank is 250L

I want to hear what you think - I have a Tunze minipump that fits inside, if you could involve that

(The reason i ask for suggestions, is that i got sinusitis and my brainfunctions are somewhat out of order )

Still I would use smaller bio-balls and save you a lot of unnecessary work. This almost looks like the Aquamedic 1000.Regards, JC.
