I got a ? about bubble counter/gas separator!

Alright I made a 2, 2liter bottle of diy and I also made a gas separtor, my question is, do I put water in my gas separor? and if so what for?

The gas separator is to there to keep the yeast snot out of your tank, with water in there is just works better and also acts as a bubble counter

A bubble counter is a tool to guage how much CO2 is entering your tank. You count in bubbles per minute or per second.

Basically with water in your gas separator, you'll get a bubble every time enough CO2 builds up...allowing you to see that the system is working, and when it's slowing down.


Use the water. I have mine filled maybe 3/4 full of water.
