CO2 Diffuser

Will those sintered glass CO2 diffusers work with DIY CO2 units?
I have two 2 liter soda bottles for my 55 long tank(260Watts of light).
I can't seem to find an airstone that will produce small enough(mist like) CO2.

fsh, you use the nano one a 125! You need a larger diffusor for that size tank, the large diffusor will produce much smaller bubbles, ie dissolve faster and more efficiently

I get a steady steam of micro bubbles off of each diffusor/bottle. Will DIY bottles run the larger ones? Any I should look at?

I wouldnt see why not, aquaticmagic has the larger ones, I would suggest at least the 8 coil for a tank that size, Hey if its working for you dont worry about it, just dosent seem it would work very well to me. Im kinda suprised the glass hasnt broken from the pressure of the 3-bottles

bigstick: I think he means one diffuser per bottle. Not one diffuser for all three..

AHHHH, now I see, well that might work then! Ya dont think you would want one hooked to 3 bottles!

And to answer your question sound, look for a limewood airstone, produces very small bubbles

The 3 coil glass diffuser should work as well with DIY. I think TurtleHead either on this forum or another not sure anymore had 1 setup on his beautiful tank and said it worked perfectly fine with his DIY co2.

Get an Inline pvc co2 reactor, cost about $15 to make as much as any diffuser. When I had it, it only take 2 bottles to power my 300 gallon. That was a very long time ago, I went on with pressurize now, its much cheaper in the long run.
