vitamins for yeast

i've seen some brewery places will sell nutrients to mix in with the yeast so that it can reporduce and i guess just be more healthy yeast. i'm trying to find the site i saw that on but i'm coming up short....

anywys! this weekend i added a crushed up multi-vitamin to my yeast mix. its not a like a centrum or anything, its some other vitamin i found in my closet that i think my dad was taking because he has prostate problems.. anyways, we have alot of vitamins and stuff in this basket and what i was lookinf for was basically ammino acids. i figured that would be the most important thing for the yeast to grow and stuff. well, since adding that to only one out of the two bottles on the system CO2 production is up. its way up. the amount of CO2 dissolved in my water is now %50 higher than it was before. so thats something to think about. i've heard of people using health shake mix too. that stuff is mostly protien whey, which i guess is just as good as ammino acids. who knows? i haven't tried that yet but i think next week i'm gonna do some research on what they put in that yeast nutrient stuff and then swing by the health food store and see what i can find there.
