What Should I DIY w/ A Broken Coralife T5 Fixture?

I've got one of the infamous broken Coralife 30" T5NO fixtures that's barely a year old. Rather than toss it in the trash, as I have all the others, figured someone here may have some DIY ideas.

The reflector is in good shape, however janky it may be. The housing is in perfect condition and I'm comfortable rewiring if needed. Doesn't have to be used for full-time lighting. I'm open to anything.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas?

I've got a bunch of SMD5050 strips so that may be a good idea.

What Should I DIY w/ A Broken Coralife T5 Fixture?

I turned 2 of my old ones into DIY gu10 led fixtures. I took the electronics out and mounted the sockets to the plastic splash guard. Wired the switch so it still works.
