Time? Took less that 6 hours to put the whole thing together, that includes 2 trips to the home improvement store, a stop at starbucks, and lunch. Space? Takes up less room than a 46 galllon tank. Money? Cost less than $250 for everything. RO unit is 50 gpd, and actually fills the drum in a day despite the myth that RO units put out half their rating.....DC

my entire setup is worth les than 250$ and takes up far less room than a 46 gallon tank (15 tall). im a college student (almost done) and i rent an apartment (no $), and while i could probably get away with it, it wouldn't make any sense, as i'll probably be moving around the next few years. i'll definately keep it in mind though, i love little engineering projects like this.

Teaching is a good thing, not many other professions that contribute as much to our children and society. As a matter of fact,.....I can't think of one. I bet if you pursue teaching you will find a lot more than a "dead end"....DC
