Giving up on DIY 190 - Need encouragement

Arrrrrgh!

After 5 water tests, my wood/acrylic/epoxy tank still leaks in the same three areas. And I have bunt out my angle grinder making specular aluminum.

I wanted to give up on the 190 and focus my attention (and all the hardware I bought) on my current 30 gallon, but my wife won't let me. She says I should cut out the panel of acrylic and insert a new one. Guys, if you ever find a gal like mine, don't screw up and cherish her. One in a thousand.

Anyway, I have put it on the back burner for the last couple of weeks and I don't want it to slip into oblivion.

I've skimmed through Scolley's book, but maybe I need to read it all. I'm taking sheet aluminum, wet sanding it with 400, 600, 800, 1500, & 2000 grit paper, and will soon begin to polish it. I've joined a metal polishing forum to get it right.
