Post DIY Co2 System (UK)

I'm looking into a CO2 system for my new aquarium and after some initial investigation now think I would rather DIY than buy an expensive prepackaged setup. As i'm not in the US i'm find it difficult to find places to get all the parts from and would welcome any other feedback from others in the UK or elsewhere that can help with any info. I currenly live in Woking, Surrey.

I have no kit at all at the moment so I'll need a tank/ bottle, regulator, needle valve, bubble counter, diffuser etc etc.

Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank

BM

You say you'd rather do DIY, but it sounds like you still want to get a pressurized system. Not putting you down, I'm just confused If you're wanting to do a yeast-powered DIY system, you can make it out of quite common components, and shouldn't have any trouble making it.

BM, if you haven't been to Rex Grigg's site, and looked at CO2 there, you should. Sound's like you haven't, because you would know that this, is a killer of a DIY CO2 site to help you get going.

Thanks,

What I meant was where can I get the parts to build a pressurised system, but the more I think about it the more I'm taken by a yeast reactor DIY.

Thanks for the info

The stuff in that link worked great for me BM. But I still wouldn't trade it for my pressurized system. Good luck getting the UK specific info you need.
