corner tnak hood build question

im going to be building a hood for my 54g corner bow. right now im running two dual 24" t5's. ill be running a cfl in the back corner to fill in a dark spot. would i benefit to lining the inside of the hood with something as a reflector, to reflect any light back down?

You could double the amount of PAR you get from the CFL bulb by putting a DIY sheet aluminum reflector, shaped like \_/ over the horizontal bulb. You don't need a perfect polish of the aluminum, just clean it and lightly polish it so it is shiny. I tested this on one of my DIY lights and was amazed at how effective it was.
