DIY LILY PIPES - need feedback

hi everyone,

i thought i might try a DIY lily pipes. I only ended up getting around to the outflow pipes - I'm not 100% satisfied with the result yet.

I wanted to hear your feedbacks - what do you guys think?

I haven't tested to see if it'll create the vortex yet - my canister filter's still not set up. haha

If that will fit a 16/22mm tube you could always send it my way. I would be happy to report back to you with my findings.

I think they look good for a first try. I have been thinking of doing something similar myself. Where did you get the tubing from? How did you go about bending it?

Haha it's actually a 13mm set.
I think I'm going to make a couple more sets for testing and feedback.
I may begin to sell these as a cheaper alternative than the glass kind.

ok so i just tested in my 5.5G with the px360 and couple of observations.
the px360 is way too strong.. haha my cpds were flying away!

i saw some vortex action but it wasn't stable because of my setup.
i never knew the canister filter would be such a p.i.t.a. to make it flexible in terms of set up.. anyone have any good suggestions in terms of set up? px360 can't be set up more than 2 ft below the tank.. yea.
