DIY stand idea, @Amazon

Will this work as a frame for a DIY stand? It can hold up to 1000Lbs.

$65.37 @ Amazon

The actual shelves themselves are made of particle board which will quickly become saturated and crumble when it gets wet. You can seal it somehow or replace with some plywood.

Basically every commercial stand out there is made from particle board. Seal it if you want, but don't let it sit in water and you're fine.

As for using it as a diy stand.... sure.... but it wouldn't be possible to skin, and the top shelf has no business holding tanks. Just the workbench part.

The kit is only the the legs.

You supply the wood and of course for your application, use plywood and seal it.

if you're going to be using this, why not just get some 4x4 for the 4 corner which is cheaper than this kit.
