What is an inline drop checker and how do you intend to do that with pressure differentials. Also why worry about it at all when you already have a ph meter. Drop checkers are much leas precise.
I'd have sold the filters and gotten one that worked the way I wanted. Much less room for error.
If you're worried about flow, putting 37 things in line isn't exactly the way to go
the inline drop checker as well as all the other inline stuff is the beginning of my attempt to remove every thing from my tank. i mean everything
as for the drop checker i just want to see if i can do it
i use a drop checker as a semi redundant measurement of co2 that i balance with my ph controller measurements
ph controllers measure ph , this can be effected by other things other then co2
since im getting everything out of my tank the drop checker has to go
ill post my results soon
why didnt i just go buy a bigger filter , well cash and i like to experiment
i needed a filter flow upgrade fast and cheap and id say im more then happy with the results
im planning to buy a kick ass pressure pump and nu clear micron filter.
the fluvals i can use for pre filters (recycle), but the plumbing settup i made
i can use with the new pump and filter when i get it
the new pump will give me 780gph at 5 ft, max head 21ft . that should make inline plumbing flow restrictions a non issue
the 37 things i have inline haha , they are in parallel so i can control flow to the uv for instance and have multiple
outputs that will eventually go thru bottom of new tank pending
also ive set up the plumbing so i can take out anything (lets say the inline heater for cleaning) with out interupting any thing else
basically the quiet one pump is just a hold over till the big system kicks in.
there is no error here. for $65 i doubled my filter flow which was needed
to get 550 gph id have to buy the biggest ehiem around , which i dont really want
