T5 endcap replacement

Hi, I used to have a 40g reef, but after downsizing to a 20g, I tried to replace the bulbs of my 36" 4 bulb Nova Extreme Light for a planted tank. Unfortunately, the endcaps are messed up and i couldn't get out one of the bulbs, and couldn't put in new bulbs. So i'm wondering where I would buy new endcaps and how to install them.
Thanks

The wiring on those is pretty simple, especially to replace them: pull the wires from the old one and connect to the new one the same way.

I think the thing you're likely to run into is going to be getting a matching "tombstone" to physically fit into the place where the old one was. You'll need to find some that match them exactly, size and shape.

I would start at an electrical (not electronic) supply store. If you have Grainger supply stores there, that's one, if not, you can prowly identify some in your yellow pages. Boston will pretty much have to have several of them.

If that fails you, you can go to your local Home Depot or Lowe's and find a cheapo fixture with the same tombstones on it and buy one for the parts, they should be fairly easy to get loose, and you'll have an extra one to practice with.

Hopefully that's enough to get you started.

As mentioned only two conductors attach to each cap and it's easy to change out.
