DIY doubling T8 setup

Hey guys i thought i would share this with you. When i first got some java ferns, i wanted a little extra light for them in my 20 Gallon. So i found a black light 18" t8 strip that i had laying around from haloween and i cut up my hood to make the electrial components to fit inside. Although the reflectors suck on it, i basically doubled my light output without it costing me a dime. At first i was worried about the heat being too much, but everything seems to stay pretty cool under there. Today i recieved a new T5 Ho light system so this will be going on craiglist. I just thought i would give some ideas to people looking for cheap alternative ways to add some extra light to the tank. Enjoy.

20 Gallon High- Diy co2, 48w, flourite. Still new to this whole planted tank thing
