Help with Dyi CO2 setup

Hey guys,

I am about to start DYI CO2 in my 10g tank. I got 2liter of soda bottle, active bread yeast, baking soda and sugar but don't know where to start. I don't have tea spoon or measuring cup so can you tell me ration of yeast, sugar and baking soda please. May be i will measure them with soda cap.

Are you making some kind of social statement about the evils of the measuring spoon industry?

You could always weigh it, well the sugar at least, you'd need some pretty small accurate scales for the baking soda and yeast.

Otherwise do you have a measure like is used to put chlorine remover in? They usually have one attached to the bottles now days, from my less manly days (when I did cooking, sewing and knitting) I remember a teaspoon being something like 5ml so that's your yeast measurement, a light sprinkling extra of baking soda and for the sugar... If you don't have a cup measure (and no cups) look for something that is 250ml like a yoghurt container, water based drink or a old fish food container

Check the diy section for some of the diy drop checkers, once that's been made and put in you can keep an eye on the level of co2 in the water, a check valve will stop back pressure and a siphoning if for some reason the hose comes off the bottle.
What are you going to do for diffusion? (I'm on tapatalk)
I would recommend making a reactor if possible, even a mini one in tank worked better for me than a ladder did, and diy co2 and a ceramic diffuser could cause issues if it builds up too much pressure and pops a hose off (or the bottle) as it could cause said siphoning
