Question My First DIY Bow Front Aquarium question

Dear All,
I have planed to make my own Bow Front custom made aquarium, my dimensions as follows: H:45cm, W:75cm, D:35cm. my question is about siliconing the front (Bowed) side. please check the attached image, it is a top view sketch. which way is the best to silicon the front side? or it doesnt matter?

I would think that the second option would be best. There is much better contact between the two pieces. You would then put fillet bead of silicone at the inside vertice. I think that it looks nicer/neater too, although probably harder to cut unless you have some good tools.

Just looked at my 46BF and it looks like the first drawing. I'll bet that either would work, second drawing will be more work but looks nicer. Have you considered making the angled cut (on the 2nd drawing) on the sides? May be easier to fit that way. Are you using tempered glass?
