Post DIY stand directions?

Looking for step by step stand directions. We recently removed 2 walls and have tons of 8' 2x4 boards available. The wood is in great shape so I'm thinking of making my own stand for my 20G long. I'm in no way a carpenter and have basic hammer and nails skills. I can build a basic box frame but that's about it.

Custom building stands is fairly easy but being custom built there is lots of ways to do it, check out the DIY stand thread and see what other people have done, stands can be basic or complex, see what you like and go from there.

simple stand

For that size w/2x4s, just construct two rectangles of the same size using tank length and width - then use four 2x4s for the legs on the inside corners at whatever reasonable height you wish...the interiors and side covers can be made from the extra 2x4s but that takes a bit more work..

Now that's something I can do. Would I need middle brace to support water weight or would 4 legs be enough? I will use plywood on top.
