DIY CO2 on 70gal - I think its working...

From all accounts, I should not be able to do this. So I am probably not getting the right results. BUT I only have 1 2liter bottle that is putting out a nice steady river of bubbles from a ceramic disc. This is going into my canister filter intake. The KH is 5 and the ph is 7.0 to 7.2. This is borderline, but that seems pretty good for one 2 liter bottle on a 70gallon tank. Am I nuts? If this is working, I will just switch to a 1 gallon bottle.

do you know what ph was without co2 as that could help to compare? its hard to really tell without a drop checker and you most likely will just need to watch the plants for growth and algae.

Any CO2 is better than no CO2. I have a 3L bottle on a 45 gallon tank, which is giving me 20-30 ppm, based on a two chamber drop checker. (actually based on several of them, since I'm experimenting with them).
