Pressure release valve

There is a regulator that I am interested in purchasing on the bay, but there is a fitting on the pressure release valve that I am unsure of. Is there a fitting that I would need to put on there while running my setup, or can I just leave it naked?

Looks like a port for capturing gas if the pressure relief valve goes off..
So your need to remove it is unlikely..

Now not 100% sure it's in the right place....
See if a HP or LP is engraved near it on the regulator.
looks like "hp" engraved at 6 o'clock

Makes a big difference..

Yea, after zooming in I see it does say HP. That's normal right? Model is a Victor hpt160d

Hmm.. the diagram and the photo have the relief valve on opposite sides though..

sorry wrong model..

OK speculation time..That's technically not a Victor regulator.
Closest match is a Concoa 432 series.
Reasoning : port config and the fact the body looks to be stainless steel barstock..
