Hot Glue Safe?

Today I went and got the rest of my Odessa barbs. And also came home with two Bristlenose Plecos. We have a lot of driftwood that we’ve collected (bone dry) that my bf wants to make a cave out of for them in hopes they might spawn - they are a male and female. Is hot glue safe to use?

I've used hot glue with no problems but found that after a few months, it didn't hold on anymore. I used it to glue plastic pull chain to metal forks to feed zucchini.

Aquarium shops here sometimes stock aquarium safe glue but Iíve used super glue with no problems. Holds well. There is a gel one that isnít as runny.

Superglue gel is what you want to use. It doesn't have to be that brand as long as it is a cyanoacrylate gel.

I did end up going with the hot glue. I used the child safe sticks so should be safe. Hopefully by the time it stops working the wood will be waterlogged enough it won’t float back up.
