Diy Wet Dry, trikle?

Has anyone done this? I searched on google and on the search doohickey. I couldnt find anything. If I remeber someone else did this for a little under like $50!

If this is a planted low bio-load tank you might not want a wet dry. It drives of CO2 and converts ammonia to nitrate which your plants have to convert all the way back to ammonia. There is a recent thread discussing building sumps if you would like to check it out.

If you do need to build a wet dry cheap start with a bucket/lid that fits in your sump with bioball or something similar. Improvise a drip trip tray and punch a few holes in the bottom and you are on your way.
