background idea

a simple idea for the background of your tank. Use the vinyl that sign painters use for signs. It comes in widths between 15 to 30+ inch and long rolls but you can probably just buy a few feet. It comes in lots of colors, I used a dark blue. You just peel it off its backing and stick it to the back of your tank. You have to use some type of application fluid ,windex will work, this gets sprayed onto the sticky back of the vinyl this is so you can move it around a little bit or peel back if necessary it gives you some working time before it sticks for good Use lots. You use a squeege( a credit card works) to work out the bubbles etc. You generally have a few minutes to apply it before it sticks for good. Make sure the glass is clean and use lots of application fluid or you will probably get bubbles
