Get a powerhead and an aquarium safe silicone. Superglue and some masking tape that won't rip will be an optional plus. For the powerhead since it's only a 3 gallon, I would use a hagen elite mini filter. For the silicone, get something that doesn't have mold/mildew protectant and it should say food safe on it. For superglue, super glue gel would be easiest because it doesn't feel like your working with water. Also, a can of black Krylon Fusion would be nice so you can paint the wall black after wards.

Eh, sorry, didn't know that eclipse 3 gallon was acrylic. Weld-On is what they use for acrylic-acrylic.

Some tips:
-Use tape to make your silicone job alot cleaner.
-Use a drill to make the holes for your intake. That or use a heated up metal. Or if you have a dremel, use it.
-I used superglue to attach the baffles to the falsewall, then used silicone to make it water tight.

A good read for starters:

Silicone makes about the worst acrylic to acrylic bond possible.

Just ignore that one. The link is good shows acrylic + silicone. Pretty easy DIY just so the tank looks cleaner if done right.

None the less, silicone forms a really poor bond with acrylic. It has limited longevity. For this purpose it is prob fine, but for anything that needs long term structural integrity and waterproofing, I would not use the two combined.
