Use wire mesh or the plastic gutter guard.
I used the gutter guard, zip tied the ends, and attached to the glass by suction cups.
Did great for me until I got tired of the scape.:icon_mrgr
Nah, it was definitely the method. I just made it a couple of weeks ago so I'm still waiting for it to grow in and I understand that part will take a while.
What took forever was the actual sewing of the moss onto the grid. That might have to do with me failing home ec. In highschool, though.
I used the gutter mesh for my attempt at a moss wall. Didn't turn out too well. Moss turned all brown and didn't really grow. So I gave up on it after about 8 weeks. I also didn't take the time to sew it through the each individual hole. Mesh was also black which I don't think helped anything. Just my experience.
