Need help for a DIY nano

Alright so I am attempting to build a DIY nano tank. I have seen a lot of tank builds but none this small so I was hoping that you guys could sort of fill me on some things.

The dimensions will ideally be 6"x6"x6" (approx. 1 US Gal)

Question 1: Would I be able to use something like THIS?

Question 2: What do I use to seal the corners?

Question 3: (This one has been debated) Do you suggest walls on the outside of the bottom, or walls on top of the bottom? Should I cut the pieces at 6.2x6.2x6.2 (.2 being the thickness of two pieces of that acrylic) in order to make a true 6x6x6 tank?

Thanks guys, any help would be great. If there's a similar thread and I didn't find it in my search feel free to just point me there.

oh nifty project.. i make 6" cubed tanks.. i use 1/8" cell cast acrylic. it actually bows a bit when u fill it with water... some mind, some dont.. but it wont bust or anything...

i use weld-on 3 to seal the edges, using a syringe to apply it

i make the edges of my tank exactly 6x6x6"... if u make all your pieces 6.2", it'll come out funky.. if one edge is 6.2" tall, and u place it on top of the bottom sheet, it'll be 6.4". the back total width will be 6.2+.2+.2... sheet+front+back

when i make mine, the bottom sheet is 6x6x6,
front/back is 5 7/8"x6"
and the sides are 5 3/4"x5 7/8"

what will u use to cut the acrylic? i use a table saw with a plywood cutting blade
and use a router to smooth the edges.. the router is most important for clean edges.

i made this one for a friend

and this one with rounded edges:

oh yeah... i did some quick math... but if u want it to be 6x6x6" inside, u need...

bottom 6.4x6.4
front/back 6.0hx6.4L
sides 6.0x6.0

i think....
