Current Satellite Plus LEDs

Hello All,

Does anybody know if LEDs from Current Satellite Plus can be replaced?
Probably yes, My question should be what is the LED Model number?
I acsidently used wrong power supply on my fixture and 10+ LEDs are burned out (within 5 month)
I all I know is that they are Cree brand

Thank you.

Those diodes are SMD's meaning most were solder flowed onto the board all at once.. They can "probably" be hand removed and hand soldered but it certainly is not technically easy..

Best way is w/ a heat gun not a soldering iron..or both..

As to the diode brand.. ??? I'd be surprised if they were CREE but ?

Good chance any 5050SMD diode will fit..RGB and 6500k white

you will have to pay close attention to chip alignment and what side the corner is cut.
secondly do not change colors/white chips..
red led diodes are run at a different voltage and have the circuitry modified to comply..

As you found out.. LED's don't like you messing w/ the voltage.
BTW: TRy writing to Current.. may be helpful.

24-36" 22.8" x 3.5" x 0.44" 18W 48 White/24 RGB

.2W emitters roughly..

Thank you Jeff.
This will be allot easier task if all this diodes was not submersed in epoxy (thermo and water insulation?)
I was able remove 2 LEDs but I don't like the way all this looks, also fumes from this epoxy when I was removing LED was very bad...
I may just trash this fixture and get a new http://a.co/aIhnyq9 -$61
