Smile Best type of glass and thickness

Hi
I am going to buy some glass for mid-size vivarium. So, please tell me what type of glass and thickness is better to use for this purpose? For sure the cost is important. LOL
Is it a good idea to choose the better quality glass just for front or it does not give much better and clear view?
Tnx

I think the best quality glass you can get is called StarPhire, (or StarFire) or some variation or so of it. It's an incredibly low iron glass (there's not as much of a green tint to it). Unfortunately, I don't know anything about vivariums, so I can't help you about the thiccness of your tank. As for better quality glass/panel, I'd just buy enough for scraps+whatever viewing panels you'll have+where the light will be if it's a vertically oriented vivarium, and then use regular glass for the rest. Oh! You might also wanna look into shatter-proof glass if it's a vivarium?

So many fish to keep, not enough aquaria.

"Best" is subjective. Low iron glass is more clear, but it's also more expensive, softer and easier to scratch. There are trade offs for everything.

More thickness = longer lasting
