90 gallon rebuild...... updated shots of growth 1/8

...........I had a friend that designs reef tanks give me a 90 with a corner OF.
The over flow will strictly just be for drainage for the auto water changer.
Anyway we drilled the rear wall of the tank for the inlet and outlet for my xp4.
I am upgrading to a 250 MH lighting system, DIY in line co2 reactor, and so on.

I will post pics ASAP, but also have a couple questions.

Can I paint my PVC spray bar with Rust-oleum plastics spray paint or do I need to use the Krylon fusion????

Should I scuff the side's and rear of the tank (exterior) to prep in for the
black painted BG???????

Thanks in advance!!!!

Use latex paint for the exterior of the tank.
No scuffing required.

Reading from some reef forums, they don't really recommend rustoluem, even the the plastic version. Just use krylon fusion instead. For the glass, I don't think you need to do any prepping. Just make sure it's clean and as dust free as possible and fire away. Remember to do light coats with drying time in between as opposed to acouple of heavy coat.

You are going to have a lot of light, with a 250 watt MH light. I assume we are talking about a planted freshwater tank, right?

Correct!

I am currently running a 55 gal with a 20lb tank and internal AQ MD reactor.
The 55 has a huge plant load IE plenty of greens for the more spacey 90.

I was hoping to be setting up the tank today but I ended up stripping it down again do to two bad tubes of silicone.
But I re sealed it this morning and should be setting it up this week possibly.

Anyone have some giant hair grass they want to ship me?!?!?!

Put a plants wanted ad in the swap n shop forum and you might find more than one person willing to send you some of most any plants.
