Suspended LED Panel Light
First want to thank everyone for all the knowledge and fun things to read about on here. I am very new to the hobby...bought a tank for my daughter and in the process discovered that I am way more interested it in than she is. I have been going over a lot of the low tech forums and have semi-successfully planted a tank. The tanks been going for about 5 weeks, has cycled and I am adding some CPDs to it in about a week.
Now, I am looking at adding a tank to my office. I plan on purchasing the Do!Aqua Mini M (approx:14"x8.5"x10") and want the flexibility to go high(er) tech if I choose. I have a questions regarding lighting...I have seen these ultra-thin LED panels on the home reno market and wonder how they would fair for growing plants. Specifically, the one I thought could work is 12"x12" square has a lumen output of 1350 and CT of 6000k. I have attached specs and a hanging image to this topic.
Would something like this work? Very interested in feedback from you experts.
