Building my own rimless tank

Hello everyone. I'm considering building my own rimless tank. I will be using low iron tempered glass (unless someone says I don't need it with kids in the house). The glass with be 3/8". Tank dimensions are 30x12x18 which is 29 gallons I believe. Looking for anyone who has done this or has any input on it. Thx

Depending on cost...I'd probably do just the front pane low iron and the rest regular glass. That's all I got.

3/8" will be more than thick enough for those tank dimensions. I used 1/4" for the tank build linked below. As for the glass, annealed glass is preferred for the sides as it is more likely to crack and leak vs exploding on a hard impact. Tempered glass on the bottom is preferred as it is stronger. Likely some other details in the link that might help.

Thanks. That's the site I was using. They say 1/4" but 3/8" is just slightly more and I think the additional thickness is worth it. I'll let everyone know what it prices out at.
