Question - Cooling for multiple light schedules

Looking for a simple solution...

Say you have two banks of lights, on running from 10am to 7pm, the other from 1pm to 10pm (overlapping for 6 hours). And you want to run some cooling fans from 10am to 10pm, and not put them on another timer.

Is there a simple way to run the fans while any light is on?

So besides

1) Using another timer
2) Using a temp sensor
3) Using 2 relays

is there something else (simple and inexpensive) I could use?

using relays are the only way I could see it working.

Are the 2 lights on 2 different timers or one?
If they're on one timer, there might be a possibility. Have the fan on the same timer too!

Two independent timers.

Options:

1) Using another timer
2) Using a temp sensor
3) Using 2 relays
4) Using a light sensor
5) Adjusting the light schedule so that the bank that starts up earlier turns off later.

I might just do #5... run one set of lights from 10 to 10, and the other from 1 to 7, as an example. Only drawback I can see is that plants are not lit as evenly. Won't be an issue as I extend the "full blast" period.

Yep, that would be an option. It is not cheap ($20 incl S&H) though.

I am going to try the other way for a while.
