Gorilla glue in sump

Building a custom sump and for the pump I want to surround it with 1/2 30+ppi foam but I'm not sure how to go about it. The last time I had this done I bought one with my pump, but I wish to diy it and am wondering what others think of the use of gorilla glue. Anyone with experience?

Gorilla Glue is making several products these days.
One is the same as Super Glue, and this is safe in aquariums.

I'm after the foam version since I'm not dealing with a superglue friendly material

what will you be gluing with the epoxy gorilla glue?

If gluing stuff to glass, silicone would give you a better grip/adhesion. The gorilla glue would slip off eventually.

I think when I was looking at gluing foam sheets together with the standard gorilla glue that it wasn't aquarium safe

The standard glue is safe. It's water based and when cured, it's harmless.

A picture of the pump would help. I used 30ppi foam and a 1' zip tie to make a prefilter. After trimming the zip tie, it looked pretty good.

It is a jebao dcs 7k, it's more for vibration but it will add bio surface area and a prefilter. I finally got a response from the company and they said it will not harm fish, inverts or even babies once cured, leaches no chemicals and does not break down in water. So I'll probably use that to build the foam box for my pump. Thanks for all the replies everyone.
