Color LED's dying?

I have many many current led+'s and on a few of them I have noticed that at a few of the colored leds would be dead. Does anyone else have this problem/is it covered by warranty? (haven't had the lights for more then a year) I haven't checked to see if any of the white leds have died and ill get pics up tmr to better explain what im trying to say

Finally had time to contact current support. They were very quick to respond and are going to send me a replacement! They said that it was from water damage and said I should have glass tops on my tank and I responded that all my tanks are covered with glass tops and also that water never touches the light fixture. Maybe a splash now and then during water changes but I wipe it up. So I have nooo idea why they all burn out. Had this happen to three fixtures and hope it wont happen to any other fixtures

I had to email them on my 48 inch fixture last night. Seems I am having the same issue. I am curious as to what version of the fixtures are doing this.

The leds are coated in a water proof epoxy?? I can't see splashes having an effect?? Has to be something else.

they said the less are coated but ling exposure to water will still damage it. Again though I don't think water has ever touched the led and I addition its just the colored less that are dead so I think something us up. I asked them if this was common and they said no. I just emailed them saying others are having the same problem

Still no response from them yet. I know my dad didnt have this one for over a year, maybe almost a year old but still. LEDs should last way longer.

Yes, yes and yes. They finally contacted me. Had to show lots of photos, even one with the light off? Eh we will see what they say. Was purchased last Feb 20th so it should be covered.

Yup in very happy with their customer service. Kind of annoyed though as I need to get 3!!! fixtures replaced and have to do it one by one as I dont have backup lights for all 3. In the past they had sent me the light ahead of time and I would send back the lights once I received it

Ahaha i found a work around with the box. I just bought a fixture from someone here, and then boxed the other one in that box :p Sent off today so should get the new one for the bar tank in before too long.

lol yea that will work, just sent in one of the lights and am waiting on a reply to send back the second one. Its a bit annoying as three of mine died and I dont have 3 backup lights so I have to send em in one at a time.....

Unfortunately, all three of mine died a slow death also. I have only had them for about 2 years, and a third of the lights went out. Oh, well. I replaced mine with Finnex. Amazingly better quality fixture than Current.
