Plants in turtle tank

So I'm going to try some plants in my turtle tank I just got 3 crips from a LFS and put them in pots let's see how it goes

One question if anyone can answer it tho?

I don't have a light but the tank is right by a window. Will the plants do good even tho there's no direct sunlight getting to the tank?

What size and type of turtle? I have a baby res and baby musk in a tank and can keep anything even riccia with them. But my 55g has 2 5in res and all they let live is java moss, crypts vals anubis swords... Have all went down lol. But your question the crypts should be ok with little light

He's probably fine until hes a little bigger, you do need light though heat and vitamin d is necessary for shell growth
