ID This Frog?

I bought this frog today - as a White Lipped Tree Frog. However, he doesn't quite look like a white lipped tree frog to me.

What is it?

This looks like an American Green Treefrog to me. Pretty common in the pet trade and the South Eastern US.

The white-lipped tree frog can turn brown if it's stressed/cold/in a brown environment.

My roommate says I'll die by giant turtle.

It looks like a stressed out under weight white lipped.

Well I'm taking him back to the pet shop tomorrow. I know the guys there and they'll take better care of them than I could.

Why'd you buy him if you don't want to care for him? He's definitely a white lip.

It sounds to me like it's the pet shop that wasn't taking care of it. If he just got it that day and it was already underweight, it was the pet shop's doing.

It also looks like they packed you your frog in a cardboard container to take home. I would stay far, far away from any store that tries to send out amphibians in dry cardboard. At least you can learn what the frog needs and then try to provide them, rather than a shop which should know better but doesn't bother to provide the proper care for their animals.
